Here is a little demo of a guitar pedal used on the new song. The pedal is called Maxx and emulates the Brian May Deacy sound, which is basically an AC30 Vox fully cranked.

Cover bands - a much maligned art

Chris and I played many covers in our time, few bars would pay you to do a set of your own material so you would need to sneak them in here and there. This band are a Swedish Queen cover band called Queer. The lead guitarist is amazing (they all are to be fair) his name is Peter and he's a super cool guy and has been a great help to me with advice on getting an authentic Brian May tone. Peter also has a Red Special, in fact the bastard has three, the best three models ever made, a Kz Pro, Super and a Guyton.
